as with a lot of my artwork, there is a concerning amount of size creep with the buildings as i get tired of drawing and just try to fill space faster. i don't think the trading post will be that... ginormous in the actual game.
warp zones are marked in neon green so i know where to place them while programming.
building arrangement probably needs to be adjusted so that it looks more like a city and less like a vaguely haunted seaside village.
the map design will likely lean gray-washed with more saturated colors being darker to help sell the murky and foreboding atmosphere.
i'm pretty fond of the willow trees that look like they're melting. maybe i'll add some swamp azaleas or violets. figuring out a fictional city's native botany is more fun than making the actual game.
