Redesigned with updated artwork. consolidated some of the details and color placement to make it easier to work with.
I worked with contrast to keep the viewer looking at the parts of the character that mattered most. overall just made the design more streamlined

the character featured here is "kaharkos", the main antagonist of the game. it's mostly just there to be annoying, speak in creepy disembodied whispers, and maybe start a hiveminded cult, i don't know.
i don't really know what's up with this thing's thumbs.
earlier versions of this character were named "s'bornisk", but that was changed because it didn't quite fit with the game.
A lot of the design evolution was attempting to push it into a more "eldritch horror" direction while also maintaining the signature deer skull and insectoid hands. It did end up looking more aquatic, which i didn't like initially, but i guess it sort of fits the seaside atmosphere of eastshire.

having 4 hands float around all the time is visual noise and takes away from the character's intended visual impact. second pair of hands have been merged with the antlers for a consolidated shape.
