so maybe your first reaction to seeing this sprite sheet after seeing version 1 is "holy crud that's a lot more sprites than last time" and you'd be correct!

i had to pull up an animation diagram and everything.
I suddenly regret my decision to specialize in background art rather than animation.
anyway i adjusted the idle animations as well, so now they look a little less clunky.
I'm holding off on making special animations for now, since all I need for testing is some idles and walks. Once those are set for the player and multiple characters, i can start expanding the animation library for existing sprites.
i really should start working on other characters huh. this depressed post-grad has been getting all of the love. that simply won't do.
