from left to right (since the color of the text doesn't go well with this website's background):
4/10, 4/13, 4/14, 4/15
inspiration taken from eric barone's stardew valley sprites.
So what's with that huge jump between 4/13 and 4/14?
well.
i *practiced*
or rather, i sent my friend sean unsolicited pixel art of his current dungeons and dragons character, tony.  sean plays in my current "eastwind inquisitors" game, and has agreed to have tony show up as a supporting character in overcast.
i didn't spend too much time on this sprite.  it was mostly just to figure out how to get the lines and colors to work correctly.
actually, while we're on the topic, here are the character designs for the rest of the dungeons and dragons party.  from left to right (drahkhan, hakarr, rinn, ruisheart, tony, and wysanala).
so here are some frankly horrifying dialogue mockups using the sigmund portrait sprite.
that text box is going to be a pain to implement because of the decal and the nametag on top.  nineslice (a method in programming which slices an image into 9 sections and stretches them out like pizza dough to fit custom dimensions) doesn't really like decals or nametags...
